Steam version of Counter-Strike: GO gets new maps

Also updates to Classic Competitive mode

The Steam version of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has received an update that will usher in two new maps, in addition to tweaks to the game's Classic Competitive mode.

The new maps include a remake of the classic Counter-Strike map Vertigo, as well as a new arms race map entitled Monastery.

The tweaks to the Classic Competitive mode include penalties for leaving a game while in progress: now, if a player leaves a game early they'll need to wait out a 30 minute cooldown period unless they rejoin that game.

Players will no longer be able to join a game in progress unless they've disconnected from it, meaning that for each new session players will join a matchmaking queue.

There are a slew of minor fixes as well, which are all detailed on the Steam website.
