Ubisoft has finally made the Assassin's Creed 3: Ubiworkshop Edition available for pre-order on PC - four months after the console version was revealed.
The Ubiworkshop Edition is, unsurprisingly, exclusive to the Ubiworkshop store, and can be had for $100 by placing a pre-order by July 4, after which it goes up to $110. No idea why they chose that date.
In the box the bundle comes with a couple of books. Specifically you get the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia Second Edition - "the updated version of the now cult AC Encyclopedia", according to Ubi. Plus a graphic novel titled 'Assassin's Creed Subject 4', "containing the whole Daniel Cross/Nikolaļ Orelov narrative arc obtained by merging Assassin's Creed The Fall and its sequel Assassin's Creed The Chain".
A release date, however, is still asking too much, as the pre-order page confirms in small print that the PC version "will not be shipped in late October", and that the "official shipping date is to be confirmed".
