The Last of Us prequel comic images show wide-eyed Ellie

Get an early look at artwork from American Dreams

Earlier this week Naughty Dog announced a prequel comic series for The Last Of Us, and a few pages from the first book have appeared online for you to sample.

Titled American Dreams, the four-issue series is being produced in partnership with Dark Horse, written by Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann, and features art from Faith Erin Hicks, a Canadian artist best known for her work on webcomics Demonology 101 and Ice.

The series will give readers a deeper insight into the background of Ellie, showing how she came to meet Joel and chart the events leading up to the start of the much-anticipated PS3 exclusive.
