Sega will re-release a series of its classic arcade games via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace in Japan this year.
Calling it the 'Model 2 Collection', and as teased yesterday Sega will release games that were originally released on its 'Model 2' arcade cabinets in the early '90s, including Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers and Sonic the Fighters.
Those three will hit Japanese consoles this year for 800 MS Points or 800 Yen ($10, just over £6).
Also confirmed are Virtua Striker and Cyber Troopers Virtual-On, but those are yet to be given a release date.
There's also no announcement for territories outside of Japan yet, but we can't see Sega leaving the West out of this action.
