Assassin's Creed 3 on Wii U will offer the same game out of the box as the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, according to creative director Alex Hutchinson.
He told GamesIndustry.biz: "I'm super excited whenever we demo the Wii U. It is exactly the same game that's on the other platforms.
"I know that sounds ridiculous, but it's been a long time since I've shipped a game on more than three platforms where you could say it's all the same. It's not like some radically diminished version, so that's exciting."
It's good to hear that there should be no difference between the three console versions of the game, as that won't be the case with some Wii U launch titles like FIFA 13.
Ubisoft has confirmed an Assassin's Creed 3 release date of October 30 on consoles in the US and October 31 in the UK. PC and Wii U releases will follow in November, with the latter confirmed as a Wii U launch game.
