BLOG: Here's some wickedly wonderful concept art from Ninja Theory's Alessandro Taini

Now that most of you are finally over the strange non-fiasco of Dante's hair dye, the creators of the game now have the confidence to flaunt DMC's wonderful artwork.

The lush art is the handiwork of Italian Alessandro Taini, who has also contributed to Heavenly Sword and Enslaved.

We recently had a chat with Taini about his work on DmC. The discussion also provided insight into his influences.

"I'm a really big fan of French comics, the more organic stuff so the decision to go for that is informed by what I like." he told us. "In DmC for example the city is made from photos I took of my home town, the back streets and other places such as Barcelona."

"We're European but we love Japanese works such as the Ghibli movies and Miyazaki, Princess Mononoke was inspiration for Enslaved. We mix what we like."

Instead of just chucking up the DmC art we though it a good opportunity to include some of Taini's other work, which we're big fans of. Enjoy.
