Mass Effect 3 'Omega' DLC not coming to Wii U

But Electronic Arts suggests future DLC remains a possibility

Mass Effect 3's upcoming Omega DLC will not be released for Wii U, EA has confirmed.

The news was revealed on the official Mass Effect Twitter account in a response to user asking when the Omega DLC will be available on Nintendo's newly launched console.

"Unfortunately it will not be available for Wii U," EA replied.

When questioned further on whether EA plans to release additional Mass Effect DLC for the Wii U version EA said: "never say never".

BioWare has confirmed the Mass Effect 3 Omega DLC release date as November 27 on Xbox 360. It will be priced at 1200 MS Points (£10.28/$15).

According to BioWare the single-player content is "double the size of the largest DLC we've done for Mass Effect 3". It features a new female Turian character and tasks players with doing battle against Cerberus' General Petrovsky for control of Omega.
