Thieves have made off with a truck full of the PC version of Assassin's Creed 3.
Unfortunately for relatively small population of PC gamers in Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, this truck contained the entire PC-format shipment of that game bound for those regions.
According to local reports (via Kotaku) the robbery took place on November 14. Ubisoft insists that the game's launch will go unaffected thanks to stock being hastily redirected from other regions.
It does, however, spell disaster for those who pre-ordered the limited 'Join or Die' editions of the game, as those apparently cannot be reproduced.
Ubisoft has reportedly blocked all the serial numbers associated with the stolen games.
