Assassin's Creed survey suggests 2013 sequel with co-op

Third consecutive instalment possibly leaked via Ubisoft questionnaire

A new Assassin's Creed survey has suggested that another annual instalment could be set for release next year.

Gaming Liberty has obtained the questionnaire, which supposedly asks participants how they'd feel about a return of Desmond, Connor and the American Revolution setting, and if they'd purchase such a title if it were to be released next year.

The survey is also said to ask how participants would feel about the introduction of a co-op mode, and - oddly - how they feel about Naughty Dog's Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, possibly suggesting a move to more scripted gameplay.

It's not the first time Ubisoft has used public surveys to test bed future Assassin's Creed titles: Both Assassin's Creed 3's American Revolution setting and the gameplay features of Assassin's Creed: Revelations appeared in similar online documents.

An Ubisoft spokesperson told CVG: "We do not comment on rumour or speculation."
