Hitman HD Trilogy release date is January 2013 - Amazon

Unannounced product expected to come with an exclusive art book

Square Enix has yet to officially announce the Hitman HD Trilogy, but little-known European retailers were listing the product as early as June 2012.

Now Amazon's US arm has got in on the act with its own listing, which has the Hitman HD Trilogy Premium Edition down for release on January 29, 2013.

Priced at $39.99, the Xbox 360 and PS3 release will seemingly include Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money, plus an exclusive art book.

Back in October, PS3 Trophies for the three games which supposedly make up the compilation appeared online.

Approached for comment about the Hitman HD Trilogy this afternoon, Square Enix told us it doesn't comment on rumour and speculation.

The latest series entry, Hitman: Absolution, launched last month. We said in our Hitman Absolution review: "Feels like 'proper' Hitman, mixed with new ideas of varying quality. Crucially, it's great fun, and you'll want to play Absolution through more than once."
