Footage from shelved Bizarre Creations racer emerges

Canned project appears to be sequel to the commercial flop Blur

New footage from a cancelled Bizarre Creations racer has emerged online.

The game - which may have been a follow-up to the studio's 2010 racer Blur - was cancelled when the studio closed in February 2011.

The studio's art director Chris Davies posted the video on his blog. Davies also posted prototype footage for the unnamed project.

"We were using a whole new engine at this point that had been developed internally," Davies writes.

"It was really nice tech that we sadly never got to ship a game with."

Despite being met with critical acclaim, Blur performed poorly at retail.
