Apple may launch the fifth generation iPad and second generation iPad mini this March, according to Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White.
Based on time spent with industry sources at CES in Las Vegas, White also said he expects Apple to release new iPhones in more sizes and colours between May and June, Apple Insider reports.
White was told that iPad 5 will be lighter and thinner than the fourth generation model, which launched last November and sold three million units in three days.
The analyst said the second generation iPad mini is expected to have the same form factor as the original, which also launched last November, but to feature upgraded components such as a faster chip.
The Wall Street Journal reported today that Apple has slashed its orders for iPhone 5 components based on weaker than expected consumer demand.
