Disney Infinity starts at £60 - expansions to cost £15

Full set will likely cost more than £150

A clearer picture is emerging on the exorbitant prices of the Disney Infinity range of interactive toys, with retailers showing that a basic set costs about £60 on average.

Online retailer Amazon has priced the Skylanders rival at £55 for Xbox 360, £60 for the Wii U and £65 for the PS3 edition. Each one of the game's 14 additional characters will cost £15 each.

It means that a full complete set - which would include all 17 characters earmarked for the game - would not likely sell for anything less than £150.

Disney Infinity is due for release around June. We've analysed each element of the game in our Disney Infinity preview.
