Ubisoft has delayed the launch of ShootMania Storm from this month until April 10.
In better news, the publisher has also announced an open beta for the multiplayer FPS, which will run from February 12 until launch.
ShootMania is in development at Ubisoft Nadeo, the studio behind insane racing game TrackMania. Much like that series, ShootMania places a heavy focus community created content, and to date, players have created more than 15 game modes and more than 20,000 maps.
Nadeo Live managing director Anne Bondel-Jouin said: "Nadeo's model of development has always been to be very close to the community, and following the release of the Beta 2 in December, we received a tremendous amount of information from the very active ShootMania community.
"For a living, online multiplayer title like this the work is never done, but these extra few weeks will allow us to polish the game further and release it to the level of quality we think our players deserve."
