Ex-Lionhead dev told off for 'talking to the community too much'

Studio scolds designer for talking about game

Former Lionhead Studios dev Cliff Harris says he was "told off" for talking about games in development.

Speaking to Destructoid, Harris - who now independently runs Positech Games - said he feels liberated by the freedom that comes with leaving a major studio.

"I used to get told off a lot at Lionhead for talking to the community too much," Harris said. "They'd ask a question like 'will you be able to do this in the game,' and noramlly you can't answer that. But if you're the guy that coded it, well, yeah you can, I'm looking at the code right now, and I got told off for that."

Recent Positech's titles include Gratuitous Tank Battles and Democracy 2.
