Following the distribution of some of its key assets last month, bankrupt publisher THQ will auction off its remaining IP by May.
The publisher will auction its unsold IP in six lots. These will include Darksiders, Red Faction, MX, Homeworld, as well as other owned software (including Big Beach Sports and Destroy All Humans!) and other licensed software (including Marvel Super Hero and Worms).
Initial bids for the assets, which remain following last month's auction, must be entered by April 1, with final bids due on April 15. This corroborates with reports in January that unsold assets would be treated to a second auction.
The first auction resulted in IP including Homefront, Metro and South Park being sold to Crytek, Koch Media and Ubisoft respectively. The WWE franchise was recently acquired by Take Two.
