Two new 3DS colours - Light Blue and Gloss Pink - will be released in Japan in March.
Both colours, coming only in the standard model and not in XL trim - will arrive in stores across Japan on March 20 at the price of 15,000 Yen (around £108, $163), Nintendo of Japan was reported to have announced according to games site Polygon.
While new 3DS units are usually sold with 2GB SD cards included, these colours will come with larger 4GB cards installed.
There's no word on a release outside of Japan.
Nintendo recently broadcasted a 3DS-focused Nintendo Direct presentation. Highlights of broadcast included a re-release of Retro Studios' Donkey Kong Country Returns, which is getting a 3D upgrade in time for a summer release; Mario & Luigi: Dream Team', a new entry in its RPG series also coming to the 3DS this summer; and a solid European release date for Fire Emblem: Awakening.
