Screenshots for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag have appeared online ahead of tomorrow's official unveiling.
The shots were posted on All Games Beta, and show the new assassin swashbuckling on the high seas, free-running through untamed jungles and gunning down guards on land.
Last week Ubisoft released the official Assassin's Creed 4 box art along with the statement confirming it will further detail the sequel on March 4 at 5pm GMT. However, numerous leaks in the lead-up have already provided information on it.
According to leaks, Black Flag is set during 1715 in the Caribbean, with Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas among the islands that players will visit. The main character is supposedly Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway and grandfather of Connor Kenway from Assassin's Creed 3. Edward is both an assassin and notorious privateer.
Ubisoft's website also briefly listed the Assassin's Creed 4 release date as October 29, with versions also set for "next-gen consoles".
