Multiple reports today suggest that a new Far Cry game is in the works at Ubisoft.
Far Cry 3 lead writer Jeffrey Yohalem kicked of speculation when he hinted to Joystiq, "Yes, I'm working on something now that will be surprising, I think, when it's announced."
He went on, "But it definitely is a 'strike while the iron's hot' thing, and we'll see." Yohalem offered no further hints, or whether he was referring to FC3 download content, a sequel or something else.
In addition to this, however, the Brazilian classification website has a rating for a previously unannounced 'Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon'.
Elsewhere, alleged artwork for the same title (pictured) has surfaced, seemingly revealing it to be an Xbox Live Arcade game. The Brazilian listing, however, notes the game for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
Ubisoft is yet to announce any plans for a Far Cry 3 follow-up.
Far Cry 3 has been updated this week with patch 1.05 on consoles and PC, bringing a Master difficulty level and the option to reset enemy outposts, among numerous bug fixes.
