UK pro gamer tournament offers first hands-on with Injustice: Gods Among Us

Insomnia 48 event runs from March 22-25 at Telford International Centre

The first public hands-on demo of Warner Bros' upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us will take place at the Insomnia 48 tournament in March.

Running from March 22-25 at the Telford International Centre, the event will provide attendees with pods to play the upcoming NetherRealm Studios fighter.

Meanwhile, the event will bring together 1,000 pro gamers to compete for prize funds of up to £10,000 across a selection of games from StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

"We believe in offering the best showcase for competitive gaming, and Insomnia 48 promises to deliver our best event yet", said event organiser Craig Fletcher.

"There's no other event in the UK that offers such a wide variety of competitions, with the most skilled players in the world all meeting under one roof on March 22. You too can join us to test your skills, compete against the world's best, or simply see some of the best PC and console games around at the UK's largest gaming festival."
