Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn gets Blu-ray/DVD release in May

'Deluxe Edition' listed on UK retailer sites

Last year's internet-only live-action series, Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, will be released via Blu-ray and DVD in May, according to retailers.

Both Zavvi and the UK arm of Amazon have full-featured listings for the package, which will bring the entire live-action mini series together on physical media releasing on May 27.

The series served as a live-action precursor to Halo 4, delving into the story of a training UNSC Cadet, Thomas Lasky, who has to overcome his fears as a covenant invasion strikes and he prematurely faces his first combat situation.

The 'Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Deluxe Edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo' comes with the full series - around 97 minutes running time - along with a set of Halo art cards and an A3 poster. It also comes with "over 100 minutes of exclusive bonus content including Behind the Scenes, Pre-Release Vignettes, Cast and Crew Interviews and more," according to the Amazon listing.

Amazon has it up for £18.70, while Zavvi is charging £24.99.

Microsoft today confirmed a plans to launch Halo 4 DLC the Castle Map Pack on April 8. There's a new trailer through that link.
