Castlevania: Lords of Shadow found in Steam registry

Points to a PC launch for the 2010's console release

Steam's registry has been updated with an entry for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, as spotted by DSOGaming.

The listing suggests Konami could launch the game on PC ahead of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2's release later this year.

The original Castlevania: Lords of Shadow launched on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2010. The sequel, which is set for release later this year, is in development at Madrid-based Mercury Steam for consoles as well PC.

Xbox World said in its 9.2/10 Castlevania: Lords of Shadow review: "Water Castlevania's roots and a rollicking adventure sprouts forth. Brilliant, bloody fun."

And PSM3 said in its 9.4/10 Castlevania: Lords of Shadow review: "If Castlevania wasn't on your radar before, you need to get it on there now. In truth, it does little to innovate a genre dominated by games like God Of War 3 and Bayonetta, but it executes all its ideas with surgical precision, wrapping them up in a presentation so polished - yet so tastefully understated - it could easily have been crafted by Kojima himself."
