Atlus has fired off a new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers.
Soul Hackers is yet another Shin Megami Tensei spin-off for 3DS, and an update of the 1997-released Sega Saturn game. According to the blurb, "Soul Hackers delivers a first-person, dungeon-crawling RPG experience set in a future where technology and otherworldly forces meet in a macabre fusion of cyberpunk futurism and gothic horror.
"Soul Hackers tells of a city held up as a beacon of humanity's triumph of technology, but with an infernal secret. In this would-be utopia, a group of hackers take on a centuries-old mystic society, and a battle for control over humanity's fate is about to begin."
Soul Hackers, for those have trouble keeping track, is one of three SMT games confirmed for 3DS, the others being Devil Survivor Overclocked (an enhanced port of a 2009 DS game) and Shin Megami Tensei IV (the latest in the main series).
SMT IV also received a new trailer today, albeit in Japanese since that game's yet to get a Westerm release date.
Soul Hackers is out in US on April 16 for 3DS. An EU release is yet to be announced.
