The first official television spot for Naughty Dog's much anticipated PS3 exclusive, The Last of Us, will air in US this Sunday during The Walking Dead.
AMC is airing the season finale to its immensely popular zombie apocalypse show this Sunday, March 31, starting at 9pm Eastern Time (April 1, 2am UK time).
Naughty Dog's creative director Neil Druckmann has confirmed that The Last of Us commercial will air during that episode, but did not confirm whether or not the commercial will contain previous-unseen gameplay footage.
Although the announcement appears to apply only to US, it'll inevitably be spread online for all to enjoy within minutes.
The Last of Us release date is set for June 14 worldwide, and Druckmann says the team is busy applying the "finishing touches" to the game.
"We are now just three months away from the launch of The Last of Us - Naughty Dog's newest franchise. The team is working extremely hard on putting the finishing touches on the game," he said.
"It's exciting to see all the different aspects of the game finally come together into the vision we've had in mind all along. Joel and Ellie's journey is turning out to be something truly special that we can't wait to share with our fans."
Those who own a copy of God of War: Ascension will be able to download a The Last of Us playable demo from May 31, Naughty Dog confirmed recently.
