Apple reportedly used last month's GDC to inform developers of its plans to release an official iOS gamepad.
That's according to multiple PocketGamer sources, one of whom said Google is also planning to announce a first party game controller in the near future.
Apple reportedly hosted GDC meetings with developers to discuss its plans, although it's said to have done so under a pseudonym so as to avoid attention.
The company is expected to announce its iOS gamepad plans at an annual press event in April, PocketGamer adds.
Apple launched the 128GB fourth generation iPad in February.
