The forthcoming Wii U version Deus Ex: Human Revolution features content that will never be available on other platforms, a spokesperson for Eidos has confirmed.
The revamped boss battles and director's commentary will be exclusive to Wii U, with none of the improvements or additions scheduled to be patched into the PS3, Xbox 360 or PC versions.
Speaking to Penny Arcade Report, game designer Emile Pedneault said the Wii U edition was created with the platform in mind. "We really wanted to take this opportunity working on the game again to just change what was ehh, so-so with the game and bring some new features to the game," he said.
Pedneault also said the Wii U edition of Human Revolution will be the "best-looking" version. He also confirmed that hacking will implement the Gamepad, and that players will be able to leave online hints using MiiVerse.
Deux Ex: Human Revolution for Wii U will release later in 2013.
