Nintendo has announced a new Mario Party title for Nintendo 3DS.
Set for release this winter, the new game will retain the traditional series gameplay concept of rolling a dice, moving along a board and competing in mini-games.
However, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata revealed during a Nintendo Direct broadcast that each of the game's 7 boards will contain their own set of rules.
Gameplay will changes "dramatically" on each individual board, Iwata said.
One example included a game board which made use of a variety of items to both interfere with your opponents and move across the board.
The game will offers 81 new minigames that test "speed, concentration and luck." In addition to the board game elements, players will be able to play minigames exclusively or try their hand at various AR Card games.
