Earth Defense Force 2025 gameplay video is chaotic

Manic third-person-shooter primes for 2013 launch

Here's a new chaotic gameplay video for Earth Defense Force 2025.

It's the sequel to EDF 2017, which released on Xbox 360 in 2007 and later ported to Vita in January 2013.

Fans of the cult series will recognise the familiar third-person action, in which the player - controlling an EDF soldier - takes on giant bugs and skyscraper-sized robots.

Developed by Sandlot and published by D3 Publisher, the game will be out in Japan only July 4, and is expected to arrive in Europe and US later this year on PS3 and Xbox 360.
