According to a report by Android Police, details of the updates come via a leaked version of the Play Services app for Android. The platform, which is likely to resemble Apple's Game Center, is reportedly entitled Play Games.

The report claims that the app's code features references to achievements, leaderboards, cloud saves, matchmaking and in-game chat.

Meanwhile, the service will reportedly use Google+ profile information, and will use the social media platform to share notifications.
