Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure announced

Game releasing on PC, Wii U and 3DS this autumn

Warner has announced Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure.

Set for release this autumn on PC, Wii U and 3DS, the 5th Cell developed game will include every single DC comics characters ever created.

According to a GamesRadar preview of the title, players will be able to write into existence over 2000 DC objects. They'll also be able to create their own characters and assign them powers.

The game's story will see players guiding Maxwell and his sister, Lilly, through a series of DC locations, with each level featuring procedurally-generated quests. Solving problems will boost the player's Reputation and advance the narrative.

European Wii U and 3DS owners are still waiting for the release of Scribblenauts Unlimited. The game suffered a last-minute delay in February, when it was pushed back to an unspecified launch date.

Nintendo explained at the time: "It has come to light that some changes need to be implemented within the game before we launch them across Europe. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope to make further announcements on the European launch of these games very soon."
