A new website launch has revealed Dawngate, an as yet unannounced new MOBA from Electronic Arts.
The site, which was spotted by Supperannuation, lists Waypoint Games as the developer.
"We're sincere students of games; what they are, what they have been, what they can become. And we want to make a contribution," reads the 'About' section.
The site says Dawngate is "built from the ground up to look and feel familiar while offering a whole new way to experience MOBA gameplay."
"Dawngate empowers you to forge the champions you love for the roles you want in a competitive arena, shaped by ever-evolving, community-driven content and story."
Last year, a job listing posted by Visceral Games, the studio behind the Dead Space series, indicated that it is developing a free-to-play MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) game for PC.
Though unconfirmed, it has been speculated that EA is developing a MOBA called Battledrome.
A Twitter profile for Dawngate is currently locked and has no updates.
