A spokesperson for Ubisoft has re-affirmed the publisher's support for Nintendo's Wii U.
In a statement provided to GamesIndustry International, a Ubisoft spokesperson said the publisher believes Nintendo will take steps to boost the console's standing in the market.
"As with any new console, it takes some time to grow an established base," the spokesperson said.
"We're confident that this will help in continuing to attract gamers to the Wii U system and that Nintendo will take steps to ensure that the Wii U is successful in the market."
Ubisoft's support follows news that EA has no titles in development for the Wii U, including its flagship annual sports titles FIFA and Madden.
EA's Wii U no-show was seized on by an EA software engineer, who said last week that "the Wii U is crap".
Nintendo is expected to announce several high-profile Wii U titles later in the year, including a 3D Mario game.
