Bungie has released the 60-second CG Destiny "Law of the Jungle" trailer, with a full gameplay reveal confirmed for Sony's E3 press conference on June 10.
Activision and Bungie teamed with director Jon Favreau and actor Giancarlo Esposito to create the video.
The publisher explains: "Crafted together with the award-winning visual effects studio Digital Domain, Law of the Jungle gives players a taste of Destiny's action-packed adventures through a live-action and CG interpretation of the epic game universe."
Bungie's first post-Halo project sees players take control of a Guardian protecting the last safe city on Earth. Fighting mysterious alien foes both on Earth and beyond, the key goal will be to reclaim mankind's lost territory and become a walking legend.
Although a launch date hasn't been confirmed, publisher Activision has previously said that the Destiny release date won't fall in 2013.
Earlier this week Bungie announced Destiny for release on Xbox One.
"We're excited by the opportunity to reach more players than ever before, and we can't wait to show you more of what we've been up to at this year's E3," the studio said.
