State of Decay out now on Xbox Live Marketplace

Trial version of the zombie action game also available

Microsoft has launched State of Decay on Xbox Live Marketplace.

Developed by Undead Labs, it's a third-person action game set in a "dynamic open world" overrun by zombies.

Weighing in at 1.81 GB, it's priced at 1600 MS Points (£13.71 / €19.20 / $20), although a trial version is also available to download.

According to the game's description on XBL: "The end is here. Life as you knew it has gone to hell after the mother of all zombie outbreaks. Now you and the few scattered survivors must band together to survive and rebuild in a 3rd-person action game set in a dynamic open world.

"You choose where to make your stand, designing and fortifying your home base, performing daring raids for food and ammunition, and rescuing other playable survivors with unique talents."

On Tuesday, Microsoft published the Xbox Live DLC release schedule for the next few weeks.
