Final Fantasy XV bound for Xbox One

Square's latest RPG caters to both next-gen consoles

As expected, Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XV is in the works for Xbox One, following Monday's PS4 revelation.

The game's transformation from Final Fantasy Versus XIII to Final Fantasy XV, and it's switch to next-gen platforms, was unveiled during Sony's press conference on Monday.

Square Enix confirmed the Xbox One version during its own press conference today, with a new trailer viewable below.

FF Versus XIII was first announced in May 2006 alongside Final Fantasy XIII as part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series and the "next generation" of the long-running franchise.
