Shigeru Miyamoto is a man that needs no introduction. As the creator of many of Nintendo's icons and beloved gaming franchises, he's a certified icon.
Thanks to social networks such as Twitter the common man can stalk their favourite celebrities and public figures through the window of the internet.
With just a few keystrokes and mouse clicks we can have around-the-clock updates from public figures such as United States president Barack Obama, attention-seeking douchebags like Ricky Gervais, or honest-to-god geniuses like Bill Gates fed directly into our phones.
And yet Shigeru Miyamoto, a hero and an inspiration to millions, is no where to be found on Twitter. Or is he?
In an interview with CVG, Miyamoto revealed he is on Twitter, he's just hiding.
"Every once in a while I post on Twitter via our official Nintendo Twitter account, but it's scary (laughs)," he told us at E3.
"Maybe I'm not supposed to say this, but I do use Twitter myself to communicate directly with friends on occasion. But don't look for me - you won't find me!"
Look out for the full interview with Miyamoto on the site later today.
