Watch Dogs was the focus of the third night of 'Video Game Week' on Wednesday's episode of US chat show Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
Aisha Tyler and Ubisoft's Nicholas Mainville used the five-and-a-half-minute slot to offer a hands-on PS4 demo of the open-world action game, which CVG readers recently voted the best game of E3.
In our E3 Watch Dogs preview, we said the game combines the best bits of Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed, transported to a cyberpunk cauldron where anything can be used as a weapon.
Alex Dale wrote: "We continue to be amazed at how the company manages to include the same core components in each and every game they make, and yet continue to make them play out like nothing we've seen before."
Ubisoft has confirmed a Watch Dogs release date of November 19 in North America and November 22 in Europe on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC. The game will be a launch title on PS4 and Xbox One.
The PlayStation versions of Watch Dogs will feature one hour of exclusive gameplay.
On Monday, Microsoft Studios head Phil Spencer appeared on Jimmy Fallon to showcase Xbox One.
The following night, PS4 lead system architect Mark Cerny showed off Sony's console and offered a hands-on demo of Knack.
