Sony has confirmed that PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD will hit Vita on July 31 in Europe.
It will be priced at £9.99 in the UK and €12.99 in the rest of Europe.
The news was confirmed in a post on the European PS Blog.
The remake of the PS3 and PSP tower defence game is being handled by Double Eleven, the UK-based studio behind the Vita versions of LittleBigPlanet and Limbo, in collaboration with series creator Q-Games.
"PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD has been faithfully recreated for PlayStation Vita in high definition, with 30+ hours of gameplay, online and ad-hoc co-op play and everything you loved about all the previous editions," the PS Blog post says.
"Our very talented team put a lot of work into making this the definitive edition of Monsters!"
Sony announced it was working on a Vita remake of PixelJunk Monsters last month.
This is the first collaboration between Q-Games and Double Eleven since a partnership between the pair was revealed last month.
"The future of the PixelJunk series has never looked brighter", Q-Games said at the time.
