A 19 year-old modder is so astoundingly keen on getting a job working for Bethesda that he's spent the past year building an enormous Skyrim mod, and now it's ready to download.
Falskaar is the work of Alexander J Velicky, and it's impressive stuff. Most mods are fairly small in nature, offering new weapons or a couple of new areas to explore, but Falskaar is enormous.
There's over 25 hours of new gameplay to found in Falskaar, with an entirely new land roughly a third the size of Skyrim's Tamriel, new characters, dozens of new quests, new voice acting and even an original soundtrack.
The reason Velicky spent 2000 hours of his life making this mod is simple: he wants to impress Bethesda enough that they'll give him a job working on the next Elder Scrolls game.
"The best way to show Bethesda Game Studios that I want a job there and should be hired is to create content that meets the standards of their incredible development team," he told PC Gamer.
Early reports suggest he's done just that - the mod, which you can get from Skyrim Nexus, has been downloaded over 45,000 times since it was uploaded last Friday, July 12.
