Rapture returns in BioShock Infinite DLC

Trailer: 'Clash in the Clouds' challenge pack out now ahead of two-part story add-on

Irrational Games is developing BioShock: Infinite DLC that will bring players back to the underwater city of Rapture, the studio has announced.

Coinciding with the announcement that it has today released the first Infinite DLC - a challenge pack called 'Clash in the Clouds' - Irrational also revealed 'Burial at Sea', an upcoming two-part campaign add-on featuring a new story for the BioShock Infinite protagonists Booker and Elizabeth.

That additional two-part story will be set in Rapture, the underwater dystopia that players first traversed in the original Bioshock (2007).

Irrational creative director Ken Levine said: "We are really excited to offer our fans the content that they have been asking for. With Clash in the Clouds, people get a pure action experience that takes BioShock Infinite combat to its highest challenge and intensity level. With the Burial at Sea episodes, we are building a Rapture-based narrative experience that is almost entirely built from scratch."

The Burial at Sea campaigns will be available individually for £9.99 (1200 Microsoft Points). Clash in the Clouds, which is detailed below the new trailers, is available today for £3.69 (400 Microsoft Points). All of the content is included in the BioShock Infinite season pass.
