Injustice: Gods Among Us character DLC to be announced tomorrow

NetherRealm Studios creative director confirms imminent news on Twitter

New DLC characters for Injustice: Gods Among Us will be announced tomorrow, according to creative director Ed Boon.

Boon Tweeted the news earlier today, following a drip feed of clues throughout the past fortnight.

The new character will be the sixth DLC fighter offered since the game's release in April. Previous characters include Batgirl, Lobo, Martian Manhunter, Scorpion and General Zod.

Following the release of Martian Manhunter late last month, Boon teased the potential introduction of Riddler and Zatanna.

Amazon posted listings early last month for an Injustice: Gods Among Us 'Game of the Year' edition for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PC and Vita. An Injustice DLC season pass is still available, which grants purchasers access to four DLC characters at a reduced price.

Mortal Kombat 2 is currently in development by the same team, according to a report from San Diego Comic Con last month. Creative director Ed Boon said last year that the feels it must "introduce something new into the mix."
