SCEA has said that there will be 33 retail games released for PS4 in North America by the end of 2013.
Sony had already confirmed first party titles Killzone Shadow Fall, Driveclub and Knack for a day one release, along with several third-party titles.
SCEA's John Koller has confirmed that the following 15 games will be among 33 titles to hit retail by the end of December 2013, with all but one - Need for Speed: Rivals - having been previously confirmed for a day-one launch:
- NBA 2K14
- Call of Duty: Ghosts
- Skylanders Swap Force
- Need for Speed: Rivals
- Battlefield 4
- Madden 25
- FIFA 14
- NBA Live
- Killzone: Shadow Fall
- Assassins Creed IV Black Flag
- Just Dance 2014
- Lego Marvel Super Heroes
While this caters specifically to North American markets, EU releases are expected to be largely in line with their US counterparts.
Koller says Sony is "working with nearly 620 developers and publishers from around the world", and has "more than 180 PS4 titles are in development".
Among those expected in 2014 are Destiny from Halo makers Bungie, Mad Max: Fury Road from Warner Bros., The Witcher 3 from CD Projekt, The Division from Ubisoft, Dragon Age from EA, and both Helldivers and The Order: 1886 from SCE Worldwide Studios.
