The PlayStation Vita version of Rayman Legends does not include all the stages offered on other consoles, it has emerged.
Vita owners on NeoGAF have discovered that, contrary to previous claims by Ubisoft, Rayman Legends has roughly 12% less content than Xbox 360, PC, Wii U and PS3 versions.
Specifically, the Vita version is missing the 28 'Invasion' levels - which are special speed-run stages. The handheld edition does include five touch-screen stages featuring Murphy, but the removal of the Invasion levels means full completion of the game requires the collection of 615 Lums, compared to 700 Lums in the console version.
Ubisoft originally confirmed the Vita version of Rayman Legends in May, stating at the time that it "includes all of the original Rayman Legends content, as well as five exclusive maps".
In late August the Vita version was delayed for a further two weeks in the UK, "in order to apply the final level of polish gamers expect from a Rayman game".
While announcing this delay, a Ubisoft spokesperson said of the Vita version: "With unique touchpad controls, five bonus maps and two bonus costumes, we're certain that Rayman fans will be fully satisfied."
