GAME opening 300 stores at midnight for FIFA 14 release

Football title launches on September 27 in the UK

GAME is to open 300 stores nationwide at midnight in order to sell FIFA 14 as early as possible on September 27.

For midnight launches, stores generally open their doors between around 11.45pm and 1am. A full list of stores set to open in the early hours for FIFA's release is yet to be confirmed.

GAME is also hosting a number of FIFA 14 hands-on events throughout the UK in the run-up to the game's launch at the end of the month.

EA released the FIFA 14 TV advert last Friday. It features the game's UK cover stars, Gareth Bale and Lionel Messi, as well as Tim Cahill, Stephan El Shaarawy, Chicharito Hernandez, Robert Lewandowski and rapper Drake.

A FIFA 14 demo will launch on September 10 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, ahead of the FIFA 14 release date of September 24 in North America and September 27 throughout Europe. Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game will be available when the consoles launch in November.

Last week, the list of FIFA 14 Achievements was posted online. EA also released fresh details on FIFA 14's career mode, including a video covering its new Global Transfer Network.
