New gameplay footage of Konami's Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain has emerged.
The video, which you can watch below, was captured from Tokyo Game Show, where Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima showcased the title.
The demo features Snake infiltrating a military base (which has featured prominently in previous MGS5 trailers), believed to be in the Ground Zeroes portion of the game. The action culminates in Snake opening fire from an airborne chopper.
Konami has not yet provided an official Metal Gear Solid 5 release date. However, it was recently revealed the game is coming to Xbox One.
MGS creator Hideo Kojima attracted citicism recently when he appeared to state on Twitter that he told his designers to make the character 'Quiet' more "erotic" in order to encourage cosplay.
Series artist Yoji Shinkawa has since played down the comments.
