A new trailer for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag shows the many ways you can stab opponents in the game's multiplayer component.
Assassin's Creed 4 will see the return of the series' staple multiplayer modes, boasting at least five new maps and a collection of new characters. Ubisoft has confirmed that naval battles will not feature as a multiplayer mode.
The video is the first glimpse at the installment's multiplayer offering since a collection of screenshots released in July. Since then the publisher has released several trailers, including a next-gen showcase and ten minutes of open world gameplay.
Black Flag is scheduled for release on October 29 in North America and on November 1 across Europe and Australia on PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The PS4 and Xbox One editions were recently confirmed as day-one titles for those consoles, with Xbox One confirmed for November 22 and PS4 on November 15 in US and November 29 in Europe and Australia.
Assassin's Creed 4 is among several titles included in a Sony next-gen upgrade promotion, which allows users to upgrade from PS3 to PS4 editions of a title for a small fee.
