Xbox Live DLC release schedule detailed

New content headed to Xbox 360, plus 2K Games and Activision sales

Microsoft has published the Xbox Live Marketplace release schedule for the next few weeks.

In addition to the Xbox Live Arcade releases of Ascend: Hand of Kul, Girl Fight and A.R.E.S, a number of NBA 2K14 add-ons are on the way.

50 per cent discounts on content for 2K games including XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Borderlands, Borderlands 2 and BioShock 2 are now available until September 30. A week-long sale on Activision content will kick off the following day.

FIFA 14, PES 2014 and Diablo 3 are among the new titles set to be released on Games on Demand over the coming weeks.

On Tuesday, Microsoft confirmed Might & Magic Clash of Heroes as it next free 'Games with Gold' title. Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to download the puzzle RPG free of charge between October 1 and October 15. Released in April 2011 and usually priced at £9.99, the Xbox 360 version of the game has a Metascore of 84.

Announced at E3 in June, Games with Gold gives subscribers two free games to keep each month, with a new title being made available on the 1st and 16th of each month until the end of 2013.
