Vita version of Injustice Gods Among Us rated

Handheld version of the fighting game is yet to be officially announced

German entertainment software classification body USK has rated an unannounced Vita version of Injustice Gods Among Us.

The game was classified earlier this month and the rating was spotted by Siliconera. Publisher Warner Bros. declined to comment when approached by CVG this morning about a potential Vita release for Injustice.

In July, Amazon briefly carried listings for an Injustice Game of the Year Edition for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PC and Vita.

The NetherRealm developed fighter is only currently available on home consoles, but Amazon's French arm suggested it was also due to hit PC and Sony's portable on November 6, 2013.

In August, Warner released Zatanna as a playable Injustice character. She followed the releases of Lobo, Batgirl, Scorpion, General Zod and Martian Manhunter.

We said in our Injustice: Gods Among Us review: "Loose mechanics mean its long-term appeal is limited, but fans of the source material with love the playful way it toys with the DC Universe."
