Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma attending New York Comic Con

'Speaking session' planned alongside hands-on with 2DS, Zelda, DK, Mario and more

Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma will host a 'speaking session' at this year's New York Comic Con event, Nintendo has confirmed.

The platform holder has extensive plans for the show, with special events and open booths for hands-on time with a dozen new and upcoming Wii U and 3DS titles.


"On Friday, Oct. 11, Mr. Aonuma will host a special speaking session focusing on the just-released The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD game for Wii U and the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds game for Nintendo 3DS," details Nintendo.

"The event will take place in room 1A06 at 2:45 p.m. ET and is open to all New York Comic Con attendees on a first-come, first-served basis."

The Nintendo booth (#1436) will feature the new 2DS - the latest revision of the 3DS handheld - and the below games for open hands-on time:

Wii U

  • The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
  • Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games

New York Comic Con runs from October 10-13 at the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan.
