Maxis boss Lucy Bradshaw promoted to EA Senior Vice President

EA exec restructuring results in career change for Bradshaw

Maxis boss Lucy Bradshaw has reportedly been promoted to Electronic Arts Senior Vice President, following news of executive restructuring at the company last week.

While EA hasn't made any announcements about its executive restructuring, a Securities and Exchange Commission document indicates that Bradshaw will move from Maxis general manager to the role of EA Senior Vice President.

This follows the appointment of Andrew Wilson, former EA Sports label head, as CEO of the company. It's the first concrete evidence of the company's plans following Wilson's appointment.

According to a Polygon report, Wilson's ascent will see Patrick Söderlund take the reins as EA Sports head, while its suggestsed that Frank Gibeau will take over EA Mobile and Origin.

The shifting gears follow former CEO John Riccitello's resignation in March. Since then, executive chairman Larry Probst has acted as interim CEO.
